HAVE 2012 Venue

The HAVE 2012 workshop will be held at Technische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM), an over 140 year old academic center of excellence. The site is conveniently placed on the main TUM campus located in the Maxvorstadt district near the city center.

Getting here:
After arriving at the Munich airport, you can take the 'S-Bahn' in either direction, i.e., S1 (to Ostbahnhof) or S8 (to Herrsching) to get to the Munich central train station (Hauptbahnhof). From the central train station, take the U2 subway (U-Bahn) line to get to the Theresienstraße subway station. The workshop will take place in the following rooms: seminar room 0406, seminar room 1977, and seminar room 0534,.  These three rooms are located very close to each other, but they are in different buildings

The Airport-City-Day-Ticket is the most reasonably priced and convenient ticket for your trip from the Airport to the TUM main campus. It can be bought at one of the S-Bahn counters or at one of the Ticket Automats in the airport. All necessary details about this ticket can be found here.
